I'm really REALLY happy with this one
i can see i'm getting a little better at shading and using colors (though this pic is kinda greyish) these two are both OC, but i can never find a name for'em. . . any ideas then let me know ^^

umm, i don't quite remember how i did it
Then on a new layer you do the same and play around with the layer types (dogde, overlay etc.)
I hope that made a little sense
if not you can seach for a "glowing tutorial" here on DA
