We're at 184 favs as I'm writing this, at 200 I'll make a long awaited new tutorial on smudge techniques.

Every time I try this, I always end up smudging differently from yours.
Is there like a specific way to smudge on this ?

Just practice, you'll get it eventually.
There are a few musts tho':
-Strength somewhere between 90-95
-Hard round brush
It's not that you should smudge exactly the same to be good at it.
Anubis for example is an awesome smudger and highly respected on all the forums, but he smudges way different.

Yes, but I also got to school, have a lot of friends and a few other hobbies, so it could last a few months.

nice tut but yea.. i cant get through the first part, you should show exactly what direction(s) from start to out, or out to in.. confusing how to get that effect. iv tried a few times and cant get nothing like that. not sure what strength or smudge settings your using..
