Description Little Red Riding Hood on her journey through the dark woods at night, heading for home again after seeing grandmother, felt something behind her.

But she didn't dare look.

_________

My version of the Grimm's Tale. Seems everyone on DA has at least ONE picture about a fairytale in general or Little Red Riding Hood And The Big Bad Wolf in special. ^^

This is done with ballpoint pens, due to a still-lurking lack of time touched up via PS7.0 ...

I intended to do a series of ballpoint pen fairytale illustrations... but "Hรคnsel und Gretel" (Hansel and Gretel), the second in the series I decided to do is still in it's early stages and I can't seem to get on with it...
Too much to do... too much to learn...

Enjoy, I'd recommend FullView (hit the download button)

The foggyish stuff looks really cool, and also the way you shaded it by having most of the lines around her pointing in towards her really draws attention to her expression. I can't see any ears on the wolfy though, and his bellyish area looks kind of bland without some fur direction. o_o'

Glad you like most of it

And as for your criticism, I thank you. Simply put, I forgot the ears. ^^
The bellyish area had to be very dark and not too detailed, because it would have killed the picture. To draw attention to Little Red I placed her directly between a very bright and very dark area.
(That and I was too lazy to shade the bellyish area as dark fur ... Oo)
