For those of you who dont know...this is Emma Frost co-leader of the X-men.Joss Whedon(creator of Buffy and Angel) has been doin' a kick ass job writting "Astonishing X-men"...and making Emma suck a freaking cool as bitch, so I just had to draw her....

hey van...yeah i started again, Im almost done with my GE and be getting my associates degree. You applying for another art school? Which one? Make sure its a real one this time...lol. cuz we both know how much fake art schools really are.
I got accepted to Cal State LA for fall...but Ive decided to wait and apply again for January 2008. I will also apply for Cal State Long Beach, they are knwon to have one of the best Illustration and Film programs. That way I can take sculpture, painting, music, and theater in the fall at Victor Valley College before I move.
It is kinda late to enroll at VVC. But you can see if you can enroll to the 2nd 8-week classes that start in April....that way u can get rid of some of your GE and normal art classes....

Actually I'm re-enrolling to AI.
Figured I was nearly half way through - I might as well complete the course. I made a decision to finally commit myself to things I started. Finishing school is the best for me right now. Not only will I have a bachelor's degree but a shot at a decent career not a part time job. That and all loan problems will be handled much better being a graduate and not a drop out - LOL
Some of my really good friends have done well now that they are out of school. If they had a shot - shit why can't I?
Anyway - I start April 2 - that's the plan anyway! That's great you're almost done with your associates!! How's life otherwise for ya?

I cant believe you didnt know Joss was writting the Astonishing title..hes doing such an awesome job....but if u decide to buy the books,...i suggest you read Grant Morrisons run on X-men first then read Joss' since its almost completely linked....
And yeah ive been around, havent been doin much drawing lately cuzIm trying to get perfect grades in school and stuff(perfect grades means more free money to pay for it..lol)...how bout you?

thanks for the luck i need it....no i dropped out of AI. It was too much money and once i finished my 2d animation cources and started the 3d ones, they werent worth it. Now im currently trying to enter one of 3 California Universitys that im applying for, with a major in film. Even though I love to draw, I want to do something more active like acting, directing, or cinematography.

lol, I know what you mean. I don't think I learned anything in my 3d courses.... Oh well. I have a friend who's doing much the same thing you are--dropped out of AI to go do film. So, cool! Best of luck to you!
