This is a custom order for a handmade ooak item. The price is for ONE doll,mold Malena, as seen in the pictures. You can customize her with any media you like, or use her for photography , as drawing model figure or as a fashion mannequin.

This is a listing for full payment but you can request for the option of a first 50% non refundable deposit in advance for reserve and pay the rest plus the shipping in one or two installments.

The porcelain slip is made out of white porcelain, non translucent, high fired at 1245 ºC degrees.
Every doll has 18 points of articulation: neck, chest, hips, ankles and wrists are simple joints, while the arms and legs have double joints. They are strung with elastic cords. The joints are protected with synthetic leather. They are 35 cms. tall.
Malena is the name we choose for our most newly doll mold. She was made during this year, 2016, from our original sculpted doll.
As with our other dolls, the process involves several steps: first, we create a wax sculptor prototype, from which we make a first set of plaster molds. A single copy is casted in porcelain, refined in the raw stage, fired at bisque temperature, revised and then finally highfired to 1245 Cdegrees. The result is the original doll from which the definitive molds are made.
We are proud of her, she is sensual and very poseable, has a tiny waist, delicate hands, a tender expresion and an elegant breast. She is very diferent from our very first doll, our medium girl mold, which is already three years old.
The last three pictures above are comparison photos between Malena and our previous doll; a 03 head and a Malena head and the pieces of the creation process, the original wax piece, the master piece and the final piece.

If all the pieces to make the doll are available in stock the processing time is 5 to 10 days, in a date to confirm. Otherwise, the pieces will be included in our next kiln loading. For this last case, ask for the dates to reserve.
Also, the option of an ooak, sculpted from scratch, portrait head is also appliable to this doll, for a plus of U$D 56.50

Our finished dolls are usually painted with an aerographer and tiny brushes with acrylics and pastels and sealed with an acrylic satin lacquer for a more natural look. You can use any media you want to customize the doll. There is few tutorials in our blog, to dissassemble, paint and assemble again the doll; they are in spanish but are plenty of pictures. Any doubt you have please feel free to ask about.

You can request for a wig for your doll, in that case we will made a special listing including the doll and the wig. You can choose mohair or synthetic hair. You can ask for sample pictures of the available colours and lengths. The mohair wigs and the synthetic ones costs U$D 15, without stylish. If you want special hairstyles, they can be made for a plus, depending on the complexity of the work. The starting price for a simple haircut is U$D 8. For curls or brides, the starting price is U$D 12 depending on how many of them are requested. For a very complex style we can make a free estimate for you.
We only make wigs for our dolls, not for blythes, pullips or any kind of other bjd.

If something ever happens to your doll, we offer free repair service for all of its parts the first time . You will be charged only for the shipping. It is possible that the new pieces will not be exactly equal to the original, since every piece is slightly modified during the cleaning process before fire.

All our dolls are one of a kind, no comercial molds or prints of any kind are used to make these dolls.
Shipping is made through EMS , with tracking number. The shipping time is 15 to 20 days depending on the destination.
