Description
A painting I started long ago that was originally meant to be a digital drawing, but I liked the concept so much that I decided to make it a traditional painting instead (Digital draft can be seen here: [link] Yes, it has changed a little; dog is now horse, for instance). Been working on it mostly for the last week, perhaps a little longer, and finished this afternoon. A little WIP picture of it is here: [link]

You won't hear me say this often, but I'm actually rather fond of this, looking away from wonky hooves, unnatural moonlight reflection and general sea motion, undetailed rocks, annoying amount of white splatter paint - and so on. This one reminds me of a time I went to the beach in the middle of the night and the world was swept in sepia, a memory that has now gained the qualities of a dream in my mind.
