Believe it or not, this started out as a random stick-figure doodle
Metal Sonic decided to invade said doodle.
I was practicing fore-shortening, and decided to go 'eh' and try shading in the Channel style using pencils while I was at it XD
Personally I'm very pleased with this. May or may not add a background at a later date. More likely not.

Also, please ignore the crap that is my scanner. It scanned it too light, but all I did to try repair it didn't work, so I left it as is.
Edit- Repaired the colour. This is the proper colouring. Heh.

The am seems a little too long just to create an exaggerated perspective illusion, but the detail on the up-close hand is awesome! The golden panel, with all the conical digits, sharp and trimmed as though they were filed down from solid aluminum.
The glaring red eye and the sleek head are both very menacing on this robotic killing machine. I wish I could mix in colored pencil marks in such subtle shades and tints as you do. The rest of the body looks great in that "hunting" pose. Well done
