i work at a pet store and cupcake was a very special syrian hamster! i named him cupcake bc he was so plump and brown and sweet like a chocolate cupcake. everyone at work loved cupcake to bits while he was with us for awhile. he somehow escaped for 2 weeks before we found him again and we were so excited!! sadly, within the day he was found, he still didn't make it even though hours before, he seemed healthy. such a little body doesn't need the stress cupcake went through... i felt he needed to be remembered <333
