stopped me in my tracks... my jaw dropped... my eyes bugged out... steam came out of my ears... my leg started thumping... and suddenly I was a tex avery wolf... not merely due to the lovely model ... but the fiercely creative lighting/texture/pose/composition/etc. REALLY amazing work - you're a real talent & inspiration. Thanks for sharing this!!!

Love the sepia and the shadows, it works really well. The contrast between the sleekness of the skin and the wall is gorgeous too, and I love the pose. Well done.

Good one. However, I think the DOF is a little too shallow.

What does this mean? I have only heard this defined in vague terms, but how might the DOF be made deeper? Is it with contrast? Any help is much appreciated because I know this is often what I'm told about my photography.

For a very long and scientific explanation of DOF (Depth of Field) see [link] and for a more concise one [link]
In this case, take a look at Karen's hands. Her right hand is sharp while her left one changes from sharp to blured somewhere between the root of her hand and the tip of her index finger.
Since you probably focused on Karen's head, everything between her shoulder and the middle of her right thigh is sharp. This leaves her body in two blured layers, one in the back and one in the front but both in the lit area which should be seen as one unit against the dark background.
Don't get me wrong, I really like this shot. Lighting, contrast and mood are perfect. It's just this little detail that occured to me as soon as I saw the "full view".
