Personality: Maru is seemingly very odd to most who first encounter her. Shes very monotone and her expressions are not as ranged as most. She can seem very solemn and cold, but her friends and pokemon know her real self. To the people able to latch on and stay with her, shes a warm person, but has a hard time showing it openly. She loves the warmth of friends and the banter they bring, though she prefers to listen more than contribute to the conversation. She loves her companions dearly, but has trouble with going about normal ways of showing it. She'd much rather slip blessed trinkets into their pockets or make sure to double check on their house on her nightly walks around the island than tell tell what they mean to her. Maru is hard to understand at first, but her Pokemon and friends know shes trying her best and are thankful for that.

History- Marus History History: Marus family consisted of just her and her two parents, both of who lived by being traveling fortune tellers. Her mother, an espeon, told futures from a crystal ball or tarot reading, though she didn't need either with her gift coming naturally to as an espeon. While her mother laid futures out in front of people, her father, a Duskclops, used the lost spirits he acquires to bless or curse trinkets to sell along with her mothers tellings.
Since her family traveled frequently, she was never able to stay grounded long enough for things like friends and school, her parents home-schooled her in their caravan and she was too shy to venture far from her family to play with children of her age in whatever town they stayed in. Thus, she became more detached from people, favoring the company of her family Pokemon. It didn't help
