wow! i never knew they gather together for wrmth! but frogs are poikilothermic, so they don't release body warmth . . .weird

well, i could be wrong, you're right, they are cold blooded,it doesn't make much sense if they can't control their own heat, so i assume also that they climb there to because they don't have any rocks where to climb and use plants for refuge. what i don't understand then is why they don't face each other. strange

how come? generally frogs face each other? i never knew. anyway when i first saw the picture i thought it was a breeding ball or something, except that i didn't see any eggs. maybe it could have been the males awaiting the females to lay eggs for external fertilisation?

no, its just that, for some reason we don't understand, none are facing each other. could be for a look out or something. it could be for mating reasons too.

may be because they had nowhere to stand on, so they used the algae for support.
