I really like the coloring and texture, and the way that bright line flows through it.
The only thing that bugs me is the black artifact to the right of center. I'm guessing it's from the structure of the fractal (I can see the form of the mandlebrot set there), but I wonder if there is a good way to hide it that would go well with this piece.
