Description
I have always been fascinated by the chicken-legged hut from Russian folktales - I regard it as one of the most inventive character and it should get more spotlight. I was terribly disappointed that this character wasn't part of the opening ceremony of Olympic Games in Sochi (I really watched it solely for that one thing). I even believed that it would become the mascot of the games until the official mascots were announced (TBH they were nice, but too generic). Then I found out that the Raw Art Wrestling competition announced the new theme - new mascot of Sochi Games. I immediately thought of the hut and drew this during one lecture

It's man-eating because it's open mouth is bigger than the hut itself like a nightjar and kiwi because before drawing it I and my friend admired the cuteness of the little wings of a stuffed kiwi on the second floor of the building of Department of Biology of our university.
