I just wanted him to look peaceful and content. Hadn't thought about Santa. If I did a RW/YST Christmas though Ryo would be Santa just because red is his color. There would be eight little deerling led by one red-nosed Sawsbuck. It took me until just now to realize that Rudolf makes 9.

Don't worry, Cale/Anubisu will get his wolves in his actual team roster. The Sawsbuck are more of their seasonal familiars who sort of look after them in my mind. The wolves like to pile on top of him in the winter.

I adore Sawsbuck and am still sad that I am only missing one of the four variants in Sun TwT. I named each one after their respective warlord.

I kinda want Pokemon to bring back all the seasons like in black and white. Sawsbuck is my #1 Pokemon just has a special place on my heart. You drew sawsbuck perfectly to the T.

I love how soft this looks. Especially on Anubis's face since he's the most rugged out of the four. It's a really tender moment that is rarely seen from him.

That's part of why I knew it was perfect. It had actually started as Naaza and then I realized it needed to be Anubis. In some of the album artwork we do see all four smile (back cover of either Kimi o Nemurasenai or Best Friends but I think the first one). I live for peaceful tender moments but seldom have the motivation to draw them.
