In which the background is possibly better than the centerpiece, AKA In which the artist apparently hasn't learned anything about colors despite reading Homestuck, AKA the art piece I mostly completed back in 2013, and today just fixed a couple of things like their faces and adding "flowers."

Why did I choose this pairing? Probably because they're both intelligent, arrogant, they both have a bit of evil inside of them, they tend to be verbose, so on and so forth. Why Davesprite, Kankri, and Meenah? I really don't remember. I don't ship them together, in any combination, they're just talking. Maybe I put them there because I really dislike fanfiction where there are only two characters and nobody else is explicitly stated to exist, and... that carried over to this fanart for some reason? Why Dave and Jade by the tree? Dave and Jade are friends, Jade seems the type to climb a cool alien tree and Dave seems the type to sit and relax on the ground. Why didn't I choose better colors for the flowers? I literally just did that maybe an hour ago and I really don't know. Why are the Condesce's lips on the picture? I don't know. Are the rest of them smudgy failed attempts at a kiss mark? Shrug. Why did I have to ruin the picture with the implication that they're all about to be destroyed by Lord English? Who knows.
