Description
Marina is the cook for the Star Pirates. A very quiet individual, Marina tends to keep to herself when surrounded by people whom she does not know well. She does not speak often due to under confidence and not liking the sound of her own voice (which sounds completely normal), rather, she chooses to communicate through her cooking. Her crew cares deeply for her as they do any other member, and they have become quite adept at detecting the subtle changes in the taste, texture, and composition of Marina’s food that tip them off to how their cook is feeling. Furthermore, the crew works to help Marina out of her shell and to build her confidence. At some point in time, Marina came into possession of and ate the Clod Clod Fruit, a rare logia type devil fruit which gave her the ability to control, conjure, and become clay-like clod at will. Marina stumbled upon the fruit by chance and ate it because she was hungry, not knowing the true nature of what it was. Never having been much of a fighter, Marina relies quite heavily on her devil fruit abilities to hold her own in battle, something which she does quite well, absorbing small impacts easily and reforming effortlessly after being slammed with heavier attacks. While not very good at traditional fighting, Marina’s powerful fruit puts her towards the top of her crew when it comes to combat prowess.
