Description
The St. Joseph Sub parallels Missouri State Highway 45 for a good portion of its trackage (about 30 miles or so). They both cross the Platte River just over half a mile from the river's confluence with the Missouri River; while car traffic crosses the river on a bridge that no longer exists (thank Christ), a BNSF agri-products manifest rolls past a trestle that has stood for decades. On the point are BNSF C44-9Ws #4806 and #4488.
I had to clone out a pesky stop sign and street sign for this one.
