Description One of my favourites characters in celtic mythology and in legendary history of ancient Britain, Uther Pendragon, the Cambrian king, was King Arthur's father.
This is another portrait inspired to Jack Whyte's "Camulod's Chronicles".

My poor Uther...
I liked Jack Whyte's books especially because he has painted the Arthurian legend, and Uther in particular, with a little more justice...
Not only the useless jerk animal with the only objective of giving birth to a Good King.

Anyway...thank for your comments, is always a great pleasure and satisfaction for me when I see some appreciation...

Yay it's Uther Pendragon! I know he was a jerk in the legends but I like to see fan art of him. Especially beautiful art such as this ! He looks like how I picture Uther as well, so lovely. That's a great dragon too.

Wow, this is amazing. I like the separation of Uther and his sword from the watercolored background. And you make him look more attractive than I imagine him

I think that Uther should be a little...redeemed in every sense.
I have ever found him very, very more interesting that his son Arthur, so pure, so innocent...Uther is human, he has a great passion! A great human impulse and weakness...but a noble and strong heart.
Jack Whyte captures brightly this personality, I think...

The composition is cool, I like the way you included tha dragon as the symbol for Uther. Your style is stunningh detailed!
It seems like the portrait is a bit too pale, compared to the red in the background. So ot seems that there are to pictures briught together.
Anyway, this is a very cute work!
