That crane maid from Samurai Shodown VI and by extension her current look in Samurai Shodown 2019.I was dying to make this familiar bird joke for quite awhile since her return trailer.
So in summary based on the Japanese folklore, a crane indebted to a man after being saved from a hunter's trap, transforms into a maid/kunoichi/ninja to repay the favor and stay by his side.
Yeah, that's pretty much the gist of it.
Like damn, first killer chickens, angry geese and now this.
