Description
The cover for WWv2 # 85 came up when I spoke to Tania about her blog (which had WW vs Predator pic at the time). I figured I could do a better job with it and put Ultra Woman on the receiving end
I know I jumped the queue but inspiration's inspiration.

Wow! Just came across this and love the adaptation of the WW cover! I do like your version better, especially the facial expression on UW, really sells the pain of the knee in her crotch!

..not to mention it being deviant enough not to be something you'd see in a comic cover
The other main difference you would have noticed from the original is that I threw a bit more of a skyline in there. The original was quite 'flat'. I think it gave it more a sense of height.. and the demon enjoyed fighting Ultra Woman in that moment.. so did I *whistles innocently*

actually, your reply inspired me to have a hunt for ww covers (she was never one of my fave characters, so I needed to do some research!). Anyway, I was absolutely astonished to discover how many seem to involve her being imperiled by strange monsters and tentacled beasts!

The fall is not so bad, but that sudden decelleration is going to be unpleasant.

seeing the fight, I suspect there'd be quite a few thumps in unpleasant places before they hit the stop at the bottom .. and even the ground would probably not be the stopping point. Epic battles usually go underground.. to some aptly positioned sewer or subway below right?

Thanks - from the first look of the original, I pretty much went "Yep, I can do that shattered thing". Originally I was going to render the shards coming downwards a bit more.. (invis wall) and paste it on top.. but it was too difficult to get right, as is. Had to make sure no parts ate into the skin.
