Description
This was a project for art class at school. Oil pastels on velour paper (and a bit of coloured pencil for smaller details). I've never used that kind of paper before, and it was awesome to work on in pastels. It had a fuzzy texture.ref pic was from a national geographic. I didn't read the article to check what kind of penguins they were. I'll just call them pinkfaces.
oh yeah, and the actual size of this is about 29x29 cm.

This is awesome! I love the colours you've used - they fit very well with each other :]
I also like how the penguins' stomaches aren't shaded all smooth. The texture looks really great.
