Description titles escape me...
This is a 2x4 foot oil painting on canvas done for school. I based it on the sketch I did here [link]

Sorry the angle is weird, I couldn't take a picture from straight ahead because the paint around the siamese cat would shine and you couldn't see its face. I don't care so much about the ground shining, it's all just muddy brown so you're not missing any details. It's a shitty photo, nothing unusual from me...

I love working with brown. Should definitely do it more.
That drippy muddy background was so much fun to paint :>

You did a really nice job on this. I think the angle is really cool and complements the painting.

I really like the colors in this, and both cats look pretty rad~

This DOES make me wonder that how would a cat react to something like that? How do they interact in your story? :3

Edgar's cat is pretty used to seeing weird moving skeletons and stuff, but I'm sure he was confused the first time he came face to face with the skeleton cat. I wanted it to look like he's approaching the skeleton with caution.

And it does look like it :>

He probably IS very confused, haha. It acts like something familiar but doesn't probably smell like it should..

I love the ...dirt/dust (?) sliding off of the skeleton (and the background), and I thought the glare was a nice bonus... makes it looks like the skeleton is standing on a wet surface or something.

This looks fantastic. I love all the muddy brown and the drippyness. The skeletal cat looks amazing. Great work as always!

Aww...I hate taking photos of my work for that very reason. The painting, though, is a really neat concept, and very well executed. I love how the live cat doesn't seem startled at all about the skeletal cat (I imagine this would be true of most cats, with their possibly fatal sense of curiosity). Must fav!

I love the composition in this. The colors you used are wonderful, as is the juxtaposition of the dead cat with the live cat. The live one would look as though it's found a fierce little dog in any other context, but with the dead cat it makes a cool picture!

I still say you should call this "Schrodinger's Cat."
