Description
This was a project for my Vector & Raster Graphics class. We had to create a portrait using photo manipulation in Photoshop. So I decided to do a band portrait of Nightwish. I like it, but I think my foray into photo manips will end here.Stocks used:

This is really good... A very stunning picture... I like the way that Anette (her and her pixie self.. awww) Is looking up at the moon, I also think that the idea of the violinist on the moos is so clever...

Yeah it's not quite a complete portrait, seeing as Jukka and Emppu are missing. I think I left them out because they just didn't fit the composition. Oops.

Not bad, Elise! I do agree wit the previous post, though. Also, the negative space between the two men kinda bother me. Other than that, not a bad job at all!

I really like this, but I do have a small critique. the violinist and the (assuming) lead singer are both "flat" looking, in the way of not 3-D. They are who I looked at first, and I think it would help bring a wholeness to the picture to make the other two band members equally as flat, especially the smallest fellow on the right
I'm terrible at explaining, but I hope you get my meaning. Overall, looks GREAT!

Thanks hon! Yeah, that's the problem with photo manips, especially when the photos aren't mine. I can't really control how they look as much as I'd like. Painting ftw! heheh
