Issue 9, Page 6Sorry for the delay, I haven't had much access to my computer for the last couple weeks. But that'll soon be over, and I'll have a shiny new computer to boot! That should speed things up a bit.
I'm tired of looking at this page, so I'm declaring it done... though the lighting and FX could probably do with a little work. Ah well, next time. I do enjoy Nicole's speechifying.

Nicole's dialogue in the panel before the Sonic panel reminds me of what he was told in Shadow the Hedgehog. Black Doom said something similar about taking Shadow's powers away. Unintentional reference, perhaps?

Also, I have to wonder a bit. What exactly caused Nicole to be evil in this universe? I'm assuming since she is a Robotnik, as she claims, Eggman probably created her instead of Sally(or something bizarre like that). But, she also has an extensive knowledge on the world, especially Scourge's appearance in the world. How she observed that, I can probably guess, but I won't. However, how did she go bad? Is it because there is no SallyΒ to control herΒ in this universe?

Got most of the information from Metal Gear series through...
But seriously, look up Metal Gear Solid 3 cutscenes and you'll know that having nanites in your body may make you a bit stronger...but also has weaknesses.
That pretty much somes up whats happening to Shadow right there...

By weaknesses I mean the nanites can be controlled and/or hacked...and when their in your body...well-

.Nanites can control a biological body even if that body is no longer living(ZOMG)...
.Nanites that are used to improve the abilities of a biological body could be used in reverse- the advantage becomes a disadvantage.

In the comics Nicole is a friend of Sonic and especially Sally as well as being one of the Freedom Fighters, and a wonderful person. But this story takes place in an alternate dimension, where she has a VERY different history. She's really Nicole in name only.

Not really, Nicole is an Artificial Intelligence that among other things, controls a collection of nanites. They were both created on the ARK and she was designed to have the appearance of a creature such as Shadow, so she is sort of like Shadow's "big sister".

How does "Black doom crap" not make sense? Dearing Project Shadow, Backdoom donated his own blood to Gerald Robotnik so he can take over the planet later, Gerald had a prototype(seen on SA2,was too big to really do much damage) Somehow he made a smaller,mobian hedgehog figure(Shadow),but he somehow got a portion of Maria's soul into the vessel(Revealed from Sonic Battle),after the events of Sonic Adventure 2,Blackdoom came back,and like the scum he is took advantage of Shadows temporary amnesia ,In the end Shadow gets revenge by making himself the last of his race(Blackdoom along with the planet go bye bye forever)
