Issue 9, page 2.See? I'm not dead, just busy! But I have good news: I've got a new technique for coloring, which looks good AND takes half as long to do! It's really amazing for me. And could you tell this was done differently before I told you?

1. both. Mostly blood, though. Sicily cleaned most the rust off.
2. Sonic mostly just has an intense hatred for anything Eggman-related.

Bad things happen when Sonic gets angry O.o'
(Question!) You know, I've always wondered this...Do you ever change the shape of the eyes to convey emotion, or do you rely on the eyelashes, mouth, and ears to convey it? (I want to attempt to draw the characters, but eyes have always confused me :/ ).
Very nicely done, although I can't help but feel Shadow appears dopey here. Late night, apparently XD

Generally, I don't change the actual shape of the eye, though I draw characters with very expressive eyebrow... eye-ridge... things. Whatever you want to call 'em. I try to give every character a unique facial structure (like Shadow's angular features compared to Sonic's very very round face). The mouth does carry a LOT of the expression for me. I do the ears too, but it's just a fact that humans are not hard-wired to read the emotions conveyed by ears the same way we pick up on the rest of the face.

That's what I thought. I have a character I would LIKE to draw (but my talent is very poor, so I use words instead), but his eyes are funky and can't be worked with well.
Ha ha, I call them eyebrows, but eye ridge is good too. I can see the mouth, though - it makes sense, given when you see someone angry or sad, the mouth has a lot of influence.
True about the ears, but in general ears down are either scared or angry. Like in this case, angry. Or should I say very angry?
Thanks for answering that question. Maybe if I actually get around to drawing my character, I'll use that advice. I'll try not to copy styles or anything though XD
