I got some flak at first with this one because I tried Hellboy as bluish-green. I did this when I was reading about how much trouble they had on the first movie with the red being the way they wanted, because they had to digitally spruce it up to keep it consistent. So I wondered if I could do hellboy in a different color. I also kind of gave him a Clint Eastwood, older look. This was again acrylic on a gessoed illustration board.Related content

Thanks Seth! I worked on this one in front of students. I've learned I really paint well with an audience...totally different from first year of college, right?!? I used to hate people looking over my shoulder.
