Yay for Monday's Dusk! Again. Oddly enough, it's been a while since I've drawn this guy. EVEN THOUGH the most recent deviation in my gallery (currently) is OF this guy, I have not drawn him again until today. At work, of all places. (Yes, it was a slow evening.)Anywho. Figure I'd do some funny perspective stuff. Yes, it's on lined paper. Yes, it's dark. Funny thing: the paper is actually purple.
And I kind of like how the wings turned out. Still not quite right, but eh. Ball point pen and lots of interruptions.

But yeah. That's a big reason why wings are so challenging. Can't tell you how long I stared at wing pictures and wanted to reach in and make them move so I could see how they worked.
And because I don't want to add to that dastardly pile too much, I think that Touchpad Doodle killed the buttons on my pad.

They are. I have trouble drawing feathers where they meet at the bend of the wing.
