During his service, he rescued several scouts who were kidnapped by invading Sylvan tribesmen allied with the Conclave. While he was honoured for his bravery, he was also discharged due to having his left leg dismembered during the battle, which has since been replaced by a bronze prosthetic. Following this, Castor had taken up the role of a lawyer while struggling to deal with having his hopes of seeing more of the world cut short. He would soon find his chance for adventure through an encounter with a dysfunctional group of fugitives in their efforts to locate a mythical treasury built by a long extinct civilization.
