That coach dates from around the 1930's. It appears to be a brakevan or a gaurd's coach. Nice to see you taking pics of more modern railroad equipent! (today's is not as cool as the 1910-1955 period)

sweet. I like the rugged throwback with the almost robin egg blue. the placement of the wheels in conjunction with the offcenter doors makes for solid gamble at movement, but lacks in fully pulling off the move. The suspension showing us the age in no uncertain terms. The cracking flaking paint with the door a different color. It does make a play for definately worth a second look and more. Great angle, nice placement. A really fun photo the spikes a little excitement in me. Good job. Solid work!

Doesn't look like steampunk, looks just like old carriage from Steam Days, not at all any futuristic or anything like that...

Looks like an ordinary old railway carriage to me. What makes it steampunk?

Steampunk is all about the days of steam with victoriana thrown in.

Specifically, it's a genre of science fiction where advanced technology is based on the age of steam, with an aesthetic heavily inspired by Jules Verne.

It would have been pulled by an old steam train ,quite obvious really .

But there's nothing retro-futuristic about old steam trains. They're a technology that actually existed. Steampunk is about imagining that technology developing in ways it didn't in the real world, like steam-powered robots or cybernetic prostheses.
