So I went as Cheshire from Teen Titans (the green one) to A-kon but I was pleasantly surprised to find a great Teen Titans cosplay group there. So I got a picture with them of course. The other cosplayers wereSlade - astillar

A-kon in dallas, it mostly is people cosplaying as anime, game, and comic characters but there is usually a couple teen titans people there.

kool i've never seen anyone cosplay as teen titans only old people one time but as the old titans i wanted to be raven but i lost my cape

This is really good. I love your costume! I've never been to these "cosplay events" but I want to try it. I was thinking of going as either Blackfire or Cheshire since I have long black hair. Do you know where I could get a Cheshire outfit/costume? How did you get yours or did you make it? What about one for blackfire?

Well for my outfit, my mom and I took a picture of her to Walmart's fabric section. Here one thing about shopping for fabrics, you don't have to buy the most expensive thing. Check for what you want in the sale section, I think I only spent 7 dollars for the fabric. My mom then based it off a robe and made a few adjustments to make it match her design. I then added some clips to keep it closed and made a tie for it that I sewed to make it look like it had been wrapped a couple of times. For the mask, I made it out of good old paper mache and painted it with acrylic paint (note me if want to make the mask, its not too hard but it would take a bit of explaining).
Now if you wanted to buy either costume, just go to some stores and keep your eyes peeled for something that resembles what you want. It doesn't need to be an exact match but close enough that you can alter it.

I was the Speedy in the group! ^_^ I was wondering if I'd ever come across this pic, so happy that I did. We took a couple with the Robin as well hopefully I'll come across those someday too.
