This day happens at various times during the year, in memorial of suicide victims, and people still alive who are dealing with suicide and cutting, or any other form of self destruction. there isn't really a specific day, as far as I know. Different communities/organizations choose a day for themselves. I know a lot of people celebrate on November 13. I believe there is a week in September that's also big.

getting it as a tattoo would be a great idea. some people get really stupid tattoos that don't really have meaning, but this would really make a statement.
