Description
This is an original character, all was designed by me.
I made it on Bristol Canson paper, 38cm x 29cm (15"x 11.5") (complete support is an A3 size).
Materials : Copic Sketch, Pantone, watercolor (sky and moon) and gouach (the outlines).
I used soft pastel for the fireflies light.
I made some lines with a gold pen (on his Kimono) we can see that better on the progress photos under.

Lovely work! Quick question, did the Bristol Canson paper hold both the watercolor and the Copic ink well? Most of my art consists of watercolor paints, but recently I was given some Copic markers. I want to combine the two mediums in my work. But I want to get the right paper that is sturdy enough to handle the markers' ink and watercolor paint when they are combined. Thanks for sharing your beautiful art

the Bristol Paper is not very much for watercolor paint. Copic OK but not a lot for watercolor.
if you want to combine these to media, take a watercolor paper like Canson Montval.

... si je n'avais pas regardé les autres images, je crois bien que j'aurais refusé jusqu'au bout l'idée qu'un tel dessin ait pu être fait aux feutres et autres matériaux traditionnels.

Ce sont des feutres à alcool ou autre chose ? Parce que si on peut faire ça avec des feutres à alcool, je vais m'entraîner à fond avec les miens

Oui j'ai fait ça avec des feutres Copic Sketch, sur papier Bristol (de marque Canson) (le ciel par contre je l'ai fait au lavis aquarelle) le reste, oui c'est que du feutre, et aussi quelques vieux feutres Pantone Tria (alcool aussi)
(j'en ai une centaine en tout, ce qui permet de faire beaucoup de nuances...)

non, j'utilise de l'aquarelle fine, la Winsord&Newton (en cube) bien que j'en ai aussi en petits tubes. ^^

DeviantART is a website that is made so that artists ( like who made this awesome drawing) can showcase their work . we d not need some loser -negative comment from someone like pabloantifurry who is just sounding like a 12 year-old kid running around the internet thinking he`s cool or even some fat guy who knows he`ll never get a girlfriend or a life , saying NOTHING that will ever get so much as a second glance . trolls need to keep that shit on YOUTUBE!
