do you draw the lines on your art after you color it? why?

hmm i might see if that works for me because so far i have always done lines and sketchy shadows first and then the coloring, the only problem there was that it's so much harder to not color over the lines or smear the black ink

Wow this looks like it reproduced really well! I like the smooth fades and the texture from the watercolor! What do you think of the Pantones?

Oh yeah, and just in case this is the point of misunderstanding, by "reproduced" I meant that your colors scanned very well. Usually (at least for me) markers stuff tends to lose something in reproduction.

Eh? I didn't say anything about the design. You mentioned using Pantone in your description. I assumed you meant Pantone Markers.

O_O I didn't know about these new Pantone!!!! (I buy on this site some of my tools) but I never seen them before today.
My Pantones are older version you can see one here: Pantone was owned by Letraset now they seems to be like Copic ones O_o, maybe the colors are like my old ones, I need to see that...
(but it's the same "problem" the new Pantone we can see in your link seems to have only 2 leads, mine have 3 leads in one marker.)
