It's an abstract study but I saw a Japanese air in it. If I get a viewer from Japan, I'd love to know what they think

Well, I'm not Japanese but I lived there for 7 1/2 years...I'd say there's a definite Japanese feel to it. You probably won't get a Japanese person to say that though. No matter how long you live there, you'll never truly be part of the Japanese spirit is what they believe and it's true in a sense.
Go and look in some Asian gift stores and antique shops and fuse your own style - which you already have!

Definitely has a Japanese look to it. Great use of a simple design and the crop is perfect to show it off.

An interesting design. I especially like the perspective and integration of the spiral..and the colors and translucence are lovely; just the right amount of black..IMO.
