PROLOGUE:

A cold chill bristled through Daylightstar's frosty blue pelt as it made the grass of the clearing lean to one side. He observed closely Fallenstar. The DawnClan leader did not panic, instead, he waited for Fallenstar, DuskClan leader to strike.
“Too long...” The blue-pelted tom muttered.
“What?” Fallenstar meowed.
“Too long have you been ruling DuskClan with fear.”
“With fear?” An evil smile showed on the black tom's face. “Why what do you mean? Wolffang, Rubygaze and Redeye have been helping me fight DawnClan with their own free will.”
“The rest of the clan fear you. Apart from one.”
“Who is that?”
“Burningheart. He'll overthrow you if I don't kill you now.”
“Kill me?!” Fallenstar chuckled “You?!”
“You only have the last two lives that StarClan regret giving you. Whereas I have five.”
“Enough talking! When I'm done with you, you'll be crowfood!!”
Fallenstar rushed at Daylightstar, who rolled on his back and pushed him away, Fallenstar swerved to the left and threw himself at Daylightstar, clawing through his flesh, the DawnClan leader dropped to the ground. He had lost a life. A voice emerged from the trees surrounding the clearing:
“Fallenstar. Today your reign ends.” It was Burningheart. DuskClan deputy. “You, Wolffang, Scarletscrape and Redeye are leaving the clan. Today.”
“Burningheart, you traitor!” Rasped Fallenstar.
After that, Daylightstar awoke from his sleep. Fallenstar had no chance. He growled. And ran into the forest.
“Coward.” Burningheart grunted. “I'll throw all that followed him out of the clan.”
“Some cats of my clan said I was too weak. They got hungry for Power. I'll have to do the same.” Daylightstar replied.
A brown she-cat, Earthheart, jumped into the clearing. “Burningheart!” She shouted in alarm, “Flamepelt is having kits! And It's all going wrong! Yellowleaf is doing all she can, but-”
“What?! Oh, StarClan help her!” Burningheart rushed into the forest, towards the DuskClan camp.
Earthheart was dashing after the flaming-red tom, that was now, leader.
When they arrived, Wolffang, a follower of Fallenstar rasped. “Him?! Eathheart, I told you to get the leader! Not this sorry excuse for a deputy!”
“Fallenstar ran away with his tail between his legs! I'm the new leader! So show some respect! And once I'm finished with Flamepelt, Wolffang! You, Redeye and Scarletscrape are in for it!”
Wolffang gasped as Burningheart ran into the medicine cat's den. Yellowleaf was outside, “Burningheart quick! I don't know what to do! Oh! I never should of been a medicine cat!” Burningheart ignored Yellowleaf's laments and saw one kit. Beside a dead she-cat covered in blood. Flamepelt. He gasped, “Yellowleaf! What are we to do?!” Even Burningheart, who was calm most of the time, was panicking, Flamepelt had died, but could they save the kit?
“We have to lick the kit to get it's blood running!” She was crying, Flamepelt was her friend.
Without a word, Burningheart started to lick the kit, the blood was coming of of it, revealing tiny bits of amber hair on the kit.
“Before Flamepelt died...” meowed Yellowleaf, “She muttered the words “Amberkit” and “Chaos”...”
“StarClan put those words in her mouth.” mewed Burningheart. “The kit shall be called “Amberkit”. But what did she mean by “Chaos”?”
“I don't know...” Yellowleaf admitted. “I just don't know...”

“Amberkit! Amberkit!!” Streakkit called “C'mon we're gonna be apprentices!”
