Description "In string theory, all particles are vibrations on a tiny rubber band; physics is the harmonies on the string; chemistry is the melodies we play on vibrating strings; the universe is a symphony of strings, and the 'Mind of God' is cosmic music resonating in 11-dimensional hyperspace." (Michio Kaku)

I know this isn't representative of what string theory would really look like, but I've recently read several of Kaku's books (Hyperspace, Parallel Worlds, Physics of the Impossible, which are great books btw) and just wanted to pour my appreciation of the universe into a painting. I find it intensely amazing and wish we'd hurry up on exploring it.

I've got to check those books out. I loved Sagan's book "Pale Blue Dot" and "Cosmos," and Michio Kaku's book seem right on topic. Awesome.

And and the painting too, I love it, love the wings

They really are awesome! As soon as I picked up 'Physics of the Impossible' during my vaca a few weeks ago and read it, I immediately ordered his other books. I've yet to read Sagan's books but they're on my wishlist.

Thank you so much!

I recommend "Pale Blue Dot" very highly! Very interesting book. One of my favorite musicians (Benn Jordan) was inspired to make a whole album of lovely ambient music after reading it (good music to paint to, btw!)

Ooh, thanks for the recommendation! I'm always looking for new music.
