I was just at Zion on Aug. 6, driving through. How do you get to the East Canyon observation point? I'll be sure to go there next time.

Two ways.....the hard way past Weeping Rock and Hidden Canyon, about 4.5 miles(one way) and 2500' elevation gain.....the easy way, drive out the east entrance and go to the Zion Ponderosa Ranch, finding the trailhead is the hardest part, but a much shorter hike and very little elevation change.

Such a beautiful landscape.I love the colours and the sky is fitting perfectly.Very good composition.I like the horizon in the background.It is in the center of the photo but still not the main subject.It's gentle touch and I like it's gentle,fading colour.Great photos!
