As far as I know, he could be describing a cryptid with back spines, three eyes, and a scaly tail… that's vaguely feline shaped. That's how I picture Khoshek anyway.

It's anyone's guess! So far all we know is that they float, make horrifying screeching noises, do not resolve on film, molts, and have spine ridges and venom sacs when they grow up.
