@mitya: I think there's no story behind it. While I was painting it I got influenced by some things that are important to me and so the style of the picture was changing all the time. ^^ I was listening to HIM and thought of a Fantasy RPG and so the characters were made... ^^ And the background... I like painting every kind of nature, especially creepy woods. ^_^ And so all came together and that's the result

Though I'm not much of an anime fan, this caught my eye on the new uploads page.
It's very nicely done, in terms of composition, color, and general style. The detail on the folds in the clothes, as well as on the background really adds to it.
