Part 4 out of 5 of my possession series and my personal favorite. This is actually the work I just finished before creating this poll
erikshoemaker.deviantart.com/j… Compared to the previous images the texturework is quite intricate and more realistic. Also the colors are a lot darker, emphasising the demon's dominance at this stage. The woman is clad in armor which blocks her view and forces her to depend on the demon's lead. These were sort of the ideas I had for this image. The final part will be even less colorful than that.

Musste jetzt unweigerlich an einen Apokalyptischen Reiter denken... Ob das mit deiner Possession zusammenpasst, weiß ich nicht genau
Mir gefallen die Übergänge und das - ich kann es nur so beschreiben - 'floating tissue' rundherum, das ein bisschen aussieht wie waberndes Gewebe oder verschwommene Luft an einem viel zu heißen Sommertag. Dass es hauptsächlich schwarz ist, unterstreicht das Ganze (vielleicht als Übergang der Besitzergreifung?) und es steht in einem tollen Kontrast zum Hintergrund. Die Details sind unheimlich schön, und allein deswegen muss ich das Teil in meine Favoritenliste aufnehmen. Besonderen Gefallen finde ich an ihrem Hals und den Federn des Vogels!

vielen Dank für den netten Kommentar (und sorry dass ich verspätet bin)! Ich freue mich vor allem, dass die Texturen (das Gewebe) gefallen, das ist nämlich auch mein Lieblingselement in dem Bild.
Die Verbindung zu den apokalyptischen Reitern hab ich nicht gesehen, aber ich kenne mich mit deren Geschichte nicht so aus. Jedenfalls ist das Konzept ja nicht sooo neu, darum würde es mich nicht wundern, wenn man viele Verbindungen zu anderen Dingen finden kann.
