Hmmm so funny story. About a year ago woofiedog4 sent in a request for me to draw Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood from the Harry Potter books. I probably gave some vague answer and then promptly forgot about it. (Well, not completely. I did remember it again about 4 days ago.) Annddd... now, 11 months later, voila!
This was SO MUCH FUN. I've been drawing nonstop for the past 2 and a half days. Seriously, I've done absolutely nothing else except eat and sleep. My hand is KILLING me but it was so worth it. XD I think this might beat demon boy for the coolest thing I've ever drawn. I'm sure that bench is all sorts of messed up but right now it looks good to me. I'm pretty proud of the shoes, too. ^^ (I do see some mistakes though; I might try to fix them later.)
Ummm I don't ship Neville and Luna, but I LOVE them. They're way up there with my favorite characters from the series. Lol thank you woofiedog4 for requesting this. I probably wouldn't have drawn it otherwise, and I'm really glad I did. And hey people! Ask me to draw stuff! I might just do it, even if it takes me a year. XD

I'll open by stating that I 'ship these two (please don't beat me), thoughI'm not particularly serious about it per se; I find it inane to get into petty arguments over some harmless non-canonical fun.
There's quite a lot to like here; the postures, facial expressions, their idiosyncratic clothing, the setting, and the sheer level of detail present overall. It's really rather charming and, I daresay, cute. Quite a bit of effort on display, and it's fantastic.

I like both Neville and Luna on their own account.
I feel you have drawn Neville best. He looks a bit feminine, what I love. He has an unusual self confident look, and both his hairstyle and the style of his clothes are perfect. But his hairstyle is easily the best part about it.
Luna is one of my favourite second characters, and you got most of her right. You could add her necklace of beercorks, about five corks, and it would be even better. You've implemented her earrings, thats so lovely.
The best element about Luna are her shoes. Thats a brilliant work, they look so full of details.
The background of the scene is good enough and not distracting.

Neville you player you! Lol. I like the butterfly thing you've got going for Luna - it fits her well, though maybe a bit too 'normal' for her, meh. It's a very nice piece of art though!
