this is an example of etching. I was inspired of an old deserted coal factory. after drawing coal paintings with different perspectives, I reflected what was in my mind thanks to the coal painting works on a metal plate for etching. in this printing I used draw and stain for highlighting the contrast between black and white. the dull atmosphere increases the awe of the old machine.Related content

what's draw and stain -- does that mean burnishing and aquatint?
(rubbing the texture away to get white and etching around specks of rosin for a tone?)
