Description A fluffy Pachyrhinosaurus, although it's debatable as to whether or not an animal of that size that was probably at least a mesotherm would need such a covering, especially since even the arctic circle wasn't THAT cold during the Cretaceous. To avoid that can of worms I've made it half and half

I like this interpretation simply because it looks like a very real, plausible animal. I like the its bulk, because without their being obvious I can get the idea of powerful muscles. The anatomy overall seems highly accurate but the tail my be a little too short - the idea of Ceratopsians having very short tails come from Chasmosaurinae and I believe that in the Centrosaurinae they were generally (slightly) longer. I would also have liked to see a bit less of a stark line where the areas of feathers and scales meet. The way the upper body is feathered but the front legs are entirely naked makes me unable to unsee a dinosaur in a vest!

The pencil work is really well executed here, but the lighting on the paper is rather distracting. Is it completely impossible for you to scan your art? If you don't have any way of accessing a scanner easily I completely understand, though. Sometimes using the flash when photographing the drawing helps, although it can bleach things out and reflect the shiny areas of graphite.

Anyway, these were just some suggestions on making even nicer drawing in future and I hope they helped.

Wow, thank you for such an in depth and well thought out response, it really means a lot to me that you enjoy my work, especially coming from someone as talented as yourself As for the tail, I agree it may be a bit short, but I was trying to depict it a bit thicker than normal, to serve as a fat store for the long months when no new plant growth would be available. Maybe i'll go back and change that and post an update. I'll probably update the feathers as well, but at the time I was thinking about American bison and how there isa pretty stark contrast between the thick woolly hair on the front of the body and the thinner hair on the rear. As for the scanning bit... I do own a printer, and I believe it can also function as a scanner, but I've never experimented with it to see how well it works. Maybe that's a project for me when I get a little free time Anyway, thank you again for such a positive and informational comment, I'll be sure to take your advice into account
