Ok so this is my new POKeMON OC. (bye Louis XD I like this guy better XD) I tried a diff style here. more cell shading like XD
anyways I've been busy making a timeline of the manga and it was very hard just to make this guy's history but it was pointless since I cant figure out when DPP happens and when BW happens either >.< anyways here's my OC:

NAME: Gray Sugiyama
AGE: 18 (by the time BW starts)
HOMETOWN: Oldale (Hoenn)

History:
Ok his history is really confusing mostly because the POKeMON adventures manga timeline is a bit difficult to grasp. But I figured it out!! Yeah I so did!! I have an entire chart of it. BUT I can’t figure out when DPP happens and how many years is the gap between HGSS and BW is XD

All I have so far is that Gray is originally from Oldale Town. He wanted to go on a POKeMON journey already when he was 10 but they were going to move to Kanto because his father was offered to be able to help Prof. Oak. (his dad is a POKeMON professor and was previously helping out Prof. Birch). Since he already wanted to go on a POKeMON journey he went to the POKeMON center and asked nurse joy if he could have the Mudkip (no one wanted the mudkip because its tail was chipped but he liked that mudkip very much. He thought it was really cute) Nurse Joy said it was fine since no one would take that mudkip anyways. So after he got the Mudkip, he was supposed to move in a week already so he was training that mudkip a lot. While training in the Outskirts of Oldale town he sees a Ralts which is pretty rare there. But it was injured (yeah… I think he has a thing for hurt POKeMON )) ) so he brought it to nurse joy and helped her nurse it back to health. Problem was that the ralts was too weak to go back into the wild. It would probably die so Gray says he’ll keep it and take care of it. With some persuasion she lets him take the ralts. So Gray finally moves to Pallet town with Mudkip and Ralts.

When he turned 11 he already has a Marshtomp and a Kirlia (after lots of care he was able to get that Ralts back into shape and even made it evolve). Determined he asked his father if he could already go on his POKeMON journey. His father allowed him to. So he travelled Kanto and during his journey his Marshtomp evolved into a Swampert but Kirlia remained a Kirlia due to an Everstone he found in a cave and Kirlia seemed to like it cause it was shiny. During his journey he also caught other POKeMON. He caught a Growlithe which later evolved into an Arcanine (he liked riding Arcanine cause it was big), a Dratini which then evolved into a Dragonair then a Dragonite (which soon became his main POKeMON), a Megneton, and an Oddish which later evolved into a gloom. He collected all the badges but then opted to come home. By the time he was 13 he challenged the Elite Four and won but when he went against the Champion, Red, he was defeated (although he did put up a pretty good fight). After his defeat he returned home. After he returned home, his mother, previously a famous model and is now a famous fashion designer takes him around with her to special dinners and occasions which is how he developed a very gentleman like and well mannered attitude but still maintaining his mischievous side.

After a few months after he turned 17 he wanted to go to another country and heard that Unova was a nice place to go to and travel. He wanted to fly there on Dragonite but it would be difficult so he mapped out his route, travel to Sinnoh then catch a boat to Unova. Prof. Oak heard about his soon to be Journey and asked Gray to bring a parcel to Prof. Rowan in Sinnoh in Sandgem town and another Parcel to Prof. Juniper in Nuvema Town in Unova (the parcel is supposed to be hand delivered bec. It is very important). He accepts the request since it wouldn’t be much of an inconvenience. He leaves his Gloom to which his mom has a fondness to and his Magneton with his father since it is very helpful with his father’s job.

He travels to Sinnoh on his Dragonite with a few stops to sight-see. He finally arrives in Sandgem town. He gives Professor Rowan who offers to let him stay for a day to rest. He accepts and stays for a day. As he leaves for a ferry in Canlave town to Unova, he spots a Shinx being attacked by a swarm of wild Zigzagoon (there was a like this in the game right? XD) he defends the Shinx. After Getting the wild Zigzagoon away he finds a Dawn stone beside the Shinx and thinks that one of the Zigzagoons probably picked it up. He takes the mysterious and beautiful stone then brings the injured POKeMON back to Sandgem town. Having a weakness for abandoned and injured POKeMON he stays to nurse it back to health. His Kirlia, previously being an injured POKeMON himself, tries to speed up the recovery of the shinx. The Kirlia also gives the shinx his precious everstone and due to the dawn stone Gray placed beside the shinx, Kirlia evolves into a Gallade.
After a week of taking care of the shinx, he takes the shinx with him and heads towards Canlave town in the hopes of reaching the ferry in time. Unfortunately he is late (by 30 min.) and the ferry has already left. The next ferry to Unova is in 3 months and he calls home to say that he’ll be travelling Sinnoh for a while since the ferry left him. He apologizes to Prof. Oak and Prof. Oak informs Prof. Juniper that the parcel will arrive a little late. (18 years old already)
In Canlave city Gray buys a collar for Shinx where he places the everstone. (NOTE: Gray attached the everstone to a necklace when Kirlia held it) He then travels to Jubilee city and stays there for a while and then eventually reaching Eterna City. While in Eterna city, he takes a look at the statue of a POKeMON (like a combination of the pokemon dialga and palkia, the one in the manga). While looking at the statue, his Shinx pops his head out of his bag (Shinx doesn’t like to stay in his POKeBALL and does this a lot). A Blonde female trainer informs him of this and he says its normal for Shinx to do that. They soon get into a conversation and finds out that the trainer is actually Cynthia, Sinnoh league champion, who is impressed with his feet of holding out against red, despite losing, accepts his challenge (despite Gray saying he was just joking). Gray soon sees she’s serious about the battle and says that he only has one request, for her to fight seriously (3 on 3 battle). He defeats her although barely and she is even more impressed with him. Caitlin arrives midway through the battle and is also impressed with Gray. She then apologizes for taking too long in buying pastries. Caitlin invites Gray to have lunch with them and Cynthia says it’s a great idea. He joins them for lunch and they talk. They find out about Gray’s unfortunate accident of missing the ferry to Unova and Gray finds out that Caitlin is now living in Unova and that she’s only here in Sinnoh to visit Cynthia. Caitlin offers him a plane ride to Unova but states that it will be a cargo plane, and it will arrive for for her in two weeks. Gray accepts and he stays with them in Eterna City for two more weeks before the cargo plane arrives. He heads to Unova region with Caitlin (since Cynthia only visits during spring and summer and its currently fall) In the cargo plane he meets Skyla a gym leader of the Unova region and the owner of the plane. They soon arrive in Mistralton city. He and Caitlin stay for a day and Gray mentions that he would like to visit the amusement park in Nimbasa city. Skyla mentions that she is friends with Elesa the gym leader OF Nimbasa city and that she can get her to show him around. Gray says he wouldn’t want to impose but Skyla insists. Gray says that he must accompany Caitlin back to the POKeMON league first since Caitlin helped him get here. Skyla says that she’ll tell Elesa about him and that he should just contact Elesa when he arrives in Nimbasa city.
The following day he accompanies Caitlin to the POKeMON league (he catches a shiny pawniard on the way). After arriving in the POKeMON league he meets the elite four and the champion Adler.
He then heads off to Nuvema town to deliver the important parcel to professor Juniper. He takes a stop at Castelia city and on the way to the hotel bumps into a young girl chasing a man in weird clothing. The girl quickly apologizes before running off again. He then rests in the hotel then flies off to Nuvema Town.
He delivers the Parcel to professor Juniper stays for a day to rest and then flies to Nimbasa city. He goes to gym to speak with Elesa and she gives him a tour around town but she soon has a gym battle and a shoot afterwards. She says she can show him around the amusement park the next day. The next day he waits in the amusement park for her and she arrives a bit late. She apologizes and says that there was an emergency in the Battle subway and she had to take care of it and its not yet done. Gray says its ok. Elesa soon sees White who is looking at them (she’s wondering who the guy is and why he acts familiar with Elesa. She mistakes him for Elesa’s boyfriend but doesn’t say anything) Elesa asks a favor from white if she can accompany Gray around the amusement park for her since she has to fix the battle subway. Gray is wondering who the girl is (she looks familiar) and Elesa says that she was the girl she had gym battle with the previous day. Elesa then leaves Gray with White. Gray soon recognizes the girl as the girl he bumped into in Castelia city. White doesn’t recognize him and asks if he’s Elesa’s boyfriend he denies it saying this is only the 2nd time they have met. They go around the amusement park, ride the ferris wheel, and watch a fireworks display together.

Personality:
He is calm, quiet, and is kind. Although he is often seen staring into space he a very friendly guy. He cannot resist injured POKeMON and always tries to help them. He doesn’t speak much but is very likeable. He is easily irritable but he tries not to show his irritation. He is very gentleman like always treating a lady with care. but he is also very mischievous and can also be manipulative. He is very considerate and if he truly cares for someone, he is willing to do ANYTHING to make them happy. Even if their happiness means that he isnt a part of it.

Skills:
Excellent trainer, Knows a lot about POKeMON (since his dad is a POKeMON researcher/prof)

Fetishes/Strange behaviors:
He is playful and loves playing with POKeMON and sight-seeing and traveling (flying especially)
He likes younger women (sorry he’s a bit of a pedo… maybe around 12 year old girl? > XD )
He spaces out A LOT. But he can hear everything everyone is saying despite being entirely spaced out.
Whenever he meets a girl for the first time, he will always take her hand and place a kiss on it like the gentlemen at some point a long time ago.
