Description Chapter 2
"What will we get for it?"
"$500"
"$500 That's it! I killed the god of the wolves and I only get $500?!"
The poacher watched outside as his partner yelled at the dealer. He thought back to the wolf pups, Their faces wouldn't get out of his mind. He shook his head as his partner walked out without the cash in hand.
"What? No deal?"
"Superior wants at least $2,000 for it. It is the God of the Wolves! How can anyone not see that?!"
His partner grumbled the whole way back to headquarters, not wanting to deal with the bullshit he will have to endure from his boss. The poacher just looked at him and rolled his eyes. As he drove, an alarming sense of dread and fear he had never felt had passed over his body and he shivered. He felt like killing the God wasn't such a good thing after all.

Making it to the house in 18 minutes they waited until they got into the house and into their separate rooms before transforming back. Tegan walked out putting his shirt over his head as he sauntered into the living room, where he was alone. 'Ugh.. Out of all the people, I have to be stuck with all the girls because my jackass of a brother is never here...' Tegan rubbed his temples and plopped down on the couch, sighing heavily. "Why the long face brother?" He heard from behind him. Tegan didn't jump at the voice for he knew Kyre was behind him. "Nothing really. Just the usual shit." Kyre shrugged and sat down in the sofa across from him. Soon after Kira and Kat walked out, sitting on their respective sofas. Turning on the T.V they waited till Gunner got home. Tegan put his ear buds in and cranked his music up loud.
Tegan opened his eyes slowly, light filling them, making him squint. "What.." He mumbled, closing his eyes and turning over. His senses were alert even if he wasn't. Feeling breathing in his ear, he sat straight up, hopefully taking down the mystery person in the process. "Whhhoow big bro, no need to do that." Tegan turned around to see Gunner, completely unscathed by the attempt at knocking him out cold. Gunner was sporting a new leather jacket and aviators. "What store you steal those from this time?" Tegan said through gritted teeth. "Nah Nah Nah bro! I didn't steal anything. Someone bought it for me." Gunner said with an expression that pissed Tegan off to no end.
Tegan lunged at Gunner, the boy quickly dodging. He landed on all four and slowly got to his feet. The boys spared until Tegan got Gunner in a headlock, "You gunna surrender Gunner!?" Gunner struggled under the noticeably smaller boy but soon gave up turning over to show his belly. "Sheesh dude. Starfox: 10 Kayman: 0. How do you get so good?" Gunner pulled a glass out of the cupboard, filling it with water, and drank heavily, still panting. "Years of practice. Not going off with some random she-wolf." Tegan sat on the marble counter and sipped the water that was in his glass. "Yeah? Is that so. Hmm I best be training up then." Gunner inhaled sharply, greedy sucking air into his battered lungs. Tegan looked away, not wanting to look his brother in the eye. "Where have you been in the past couple weeks? We needed you..." Tegan spoke in a whisper but Gunner picked it up with his advanced hearing. "Ive been... busy..." Pushing off the counter, Gunner stood straight. "But. That doesnt matter now. Im here, thats all that counts." Tegan looked at him and chuckled. "Ya, I guess your right." Gunner joined in and put his arm around Tegans shoulders. "Hey, lets go meet up with the others." Tegan smiled and nodded. "Yeah."
