This portrait is really quite lovely. I have been adding trees into a lot of my paintings as of late, they are just so great. I love trees.
Anyway. I really appreciate how the hair looks like roots, the tree limbs blend in with the background and the transparency all moving its way towards opaqueness at the face. It is a lovely blending & the color scheme is just divine.
