Is anyone else having trouble uploading today?*Zimadonna was the first one to tell me exactly what she wanted, first post so I did hers first. And I wanted to sketch on my trial of SAI. Next be ~sakura3091 , because that's the order who posted
Request: Zim with The Face reading an Irken version of a Playboy mag.
Oh yes. Story behind this (yay, I will do a story behind my art for once):
Skool bell rang. Another day in recess. Zim notices some boys reading these.. magazines. Very similar to his monthly PlayIrk he receives. Terrific! If normal humans read magazines like mine, then nobody would question me if I just snuck mine out.. hehehe.. It's normal, right? Extra thick issue. Lots of posters.
I really like the gloss of the magazine
All writing true Irk. Strange way for me to colour, I know. But I'm still learning.This was mighty fun, sketching and colouring on SAI. Amazing program! I'm going to have fun doing the rest. They're so quick and easy to work with. I can't wait to get through the rest.
If anyone can read the Irken on the covers, you're a champ.

oh that sexy coloring. oh those beautiful lines.. this is a very very VERY cool coloring xD. just my opinion, but it just seems so natural, especially the hair and the shadows. amazing work

P.S Well, that was one of them in the tiny writing! xD The one on the back page though is just one big blatant word: SEX. Just seemed the obvious thing they'd put on IZ, if they could do that without the Television Authorities after them

well, coming back to the other conversation, if you know when you start to see what is wrong with your sketch, it is a good thing
maybe you should try to sketch up how it would look better, for yourself then
PS: this is weird, but i was thinking, maybe those magazines like zim is reading were kind of prohibited on irk? with all those rules etc xD.

Haven't tried Procreate Paint myself. I'll have a try at it. I'm still checkign out all the programs to see what's my best to work with, but I think I'm quite happy with what I have now

painter by the way is the same type of program as SIA, only much more complicated. i myself hate it to be honest, it is so much different from things i'm used to, though so powerful.. a dilemma of choosing if u ask me
and well, you can draw something new based on corrected mistakes of the previous work, there are different possibilities anyway XD.
and actually, i wonder what kind of art u can get if u use OpenCanvas

geh procreate painter is like OMG prog. huuge thing, amazing too, but hard to work with. it's like a complete simulation of the real colors and ways of drawing. chrcoal - you got it. watercolor - yes. airbrush? uhhu. wettened layer of paper to draw with watercolor paint on it - check.
amaaazing. but nightmare xD. at least it was for me when i started. but i was a silly person back then, though i still can't work with it.

Oh yes! Actually, someone just gave me a liscense to it just about 10 minutes ago! Now I have it full time! If you'd like, I could give it to you! The lineart, I have to agree. the ability to slow the strokes down so they actually can look smooth.. fabulous

They have tons of good coulouring brushes, layers specificly for line art, and it opens in a really short time! How much more could you ask for? Now I'm starting to sound like a commercial XD

Ah, I sent it! I had to double check the codes
Oh heck yes! I only discovered the lineart layer yesterday (wtf? xD). It was better than imagined! They even had a pressure changer.. and it's all like it where pen tooled, oh my gosh! It's the program of the gods! The quick loading surprised me too.. and the saving. Photoshop, I'd be sitting their for more than a minute, this program just whooshes away in 20 seconds. Amazing. And it saves in .psd's too, so I can always go there if there is an effect they don't have on SAI xD

It is truly the program OF THE GODS! I'm still using photoshop as my default for colouring, since Its what I know, so the way it saves .psds is great! I've gotta start practicing colours on SAI a bit more... XD I agree the pressure tool is awesome too! It great for doing the thick outlines I love oh so much c:

Oh yesssss. I've been using it everyday since. I still colour with pen tool in PS though xD It would only make it even more godly if they supported the same functioning tool. It'd save me time

SAI, yes, I'd say it is like Photoshop! Photoshop is more in the basis of photo editing, so the range of uses for an drawing bases isn't as wide. Still trying new things!

Yeah I really wanted to see another one of your Zim perv face pictures and I think you'd enjoy drawing it since you've been doing it before!. It's a truly really epic picture.
