Description The best thing my 16-year-old self has ever produced, pff My life is totally eventful.
Scene inspired from listening to Just For Now by Imogen Heap [link] My interpretation is weird but her songs are really relaxing

Steampunkish too. Favourite season is Autumn. The orb and how it has those swishes is extremely reminiscent of how Radiation Particles move in a Cloud Chamber [link] Though those are something more magical than radiation.

    This is that character of mine that anyone knows seldom about. Vee/V19 is a character I developed since about 2008.. she's aged, matured and now a lady a look up to (: A little alter ego thing, I have no idea. I still have no idea what her complete story is. I'll find it one day. I don't like to put random shizz from my head to make a character anymore, but she's quite dignified and powerful... and there's more but I don't think I can type it in a short paragraph. Not much of a writer, am I? I'll devise something one day.


I wish I was more proud of this, but I had to ref that pose from Posemaniacs.com. I wanted to get this pretty scenery out of my head quick though D:

Yep, that's the Snicket!

Since they were more-or-less "kids' books", it was kind of a running gag to explain words that way, although the particular definitions given could get extremely hyper-specific, sarcastic, counter-intuitive, or whatever.

Yeah, when I heard about them I was a bit too old to read them I had lazy classmates in middle school so that was all they read rather than push themselves onto larger reads. When I have the time, I'm sure I will! I quite like the design of the book covers, they're recognisable on any shelf if you forget to look at which letter aisle you're in!

That *might* be a *good* thing... there was some seriously intellectual stuff hidden in there. I'm pretty sure Daniel Handler (aka Lemony Snicket) is the only person I've heard of who can explain Richard Wright's Native Son in terms a ten-year-old could understand.

And HEY whaddya mean too old?!? Most of the fans *I* knew were in their 20s at least!

I think this my personal favourite too; I know this is one I can look back to and not get embarrassed by my little mistakes or anything, so I'll always remember it for that. That and I just feel so peaceful and cool and composed looking at it, which I don't feel to often, (if at all! ) of my own pictures.

Welcomes! It makes me think of that time around sunset where it's still light out but its just getting dark and it puts kind of a dusky haze over everything.. Kind of a confusing description...I believe that's what twilight is XD

This is gorgeously stunning. Autumn is my favourite season as well, but I have such a hard time showing it quite like this. How long did this take you? I only ask because I'm afraid I'm rushing through my pictures and should take more time. The colour scheme you used here suites the season so well, excellent and mystical.

Fabuous in-between season (: I adore Spring just like everyone else, but it's got a mood in it that can send my mind fluttering with mystical images. Thank you very much! I haven't seen Autumn for half a year now (haha, Southern Hemisphere ) so I'm surprised I can make it happen!

I believe this one took me a staggering 6 hours - the longest ever ^^' I was extremely fiddly with the pose and kept scrapping and retrying it before I was pleased. But take about 30 minutes, and that's how long it took for me to paint.
I feel 3-6 hours is the best time allowance for a painting, otherwise, I think it's best to move on. Artists who I refer to for colouring inspiration like *GENZOMAN take about the same amount of time, 5-8 hours.

Seriously gorgeous I have no words to describe my enthusiasm about this piece. It's so amazing.

You are on your way to realism here.

I'm gonna try my hand at critique as I haven't for awhile now. I would suggest that the eyes could use a little more work and her breasts. Reason is beacuse the breast look like there is no definitive light or shaddow which would produce some cleavage because at that angle you should see it with how her top is sitting. I'd like to see more folds in the crease of her arm, it does look a tad unnatural! The side of her nose could use a little more shading too!

The strongest use of light and shadows is at her neck, that's the most real part of her as well as the underside of her chin.

Honestly this is a very beautiful piece besides for the little blips here and there. Most people wouldn't notice, but I think it's one of your strongest pieces yet. You always make a really strong piece!

Yargh, I despise cleavages, negative-points for me not at least working with them once in a while. You're right about the arm and the nose though - DefectiveFal pointed these parts out too, and I have to agree.

I am still thrilled with that neck part I only then realised the science of colouring that part of the head and I can now understand why people lineart a line from the jaw to the ear!

Thank you very very much I often say that at the time of my current, it would be the best, but after drawings I've made after this, I still haven't matched up to it yet. I'll have to do another major painting to see how I go again!

Yeah, I say if you don't feel comfortable working with breasts or cleavages, make higher necklines of your shirts. Otherwise, you will have to work with them.
