Finally! I'm not sure how long this took exactly...but I know it took a loooong time. I think my graphite portraits have been getting better! Although, her finger/the wine glass are kinda messed up...I was going to actually crop it out, but the picture looked incomplete without it. So, here's the full picture, crappy finger and all! XDTools: 2H, HB, 4B, 6B, tissue, blending sticks, gummy eraser, draftsman eraser.
(Also, Amanda, if you're wondering why I haven't done your pictures yet, believe me, I'm working on them! I just had to finish this for art class.)

just because you say there are imperfections, I doubt many people would notice. I have asperger's, and I didn't. I just enjoyed the drawing for the emotive quality, and the lovely work that it is.

I see.. that's what I hate about referencing photographs.. difficult to avoid emphasizing the effect of lens distortion in close-up shots..
