Description As with my 'shadowkiss' image, this is a wind-down sketch and not anything officially connected to the Vampire Academy graphic novel - it's just fanart for fun. ^_^

I find after a day working on spreads, it's soothing to do something quick and for the pure joy of it...and recently, my wind-down sketches seem to be largely Vampire Academy based - lol - can't think why ^_~

haha, thank you. Dimitri does end up quite serious in the comics as we just don't have room to show his more playful side. I do love his passion for 80's music and Cowboy books ^_^

Well, the way I'm imagining is that either way - the cross is something I'd imagine he was given when he was younger, maybe from his mother? So, wearing it is also a way of keeping the memory of his home and his childhood. ^_^

Awesome to hear! TBH his eyes are a little bigger in the actual comic pages...the characters really grew as I worked through.
